<p>A transmission/received data processing method for an image processing apparatus connectable with a communication network, includes the steps of: a) determining whether or not an external recording medium having a security part for encoding transmission data to be transmitted to the network or decoding received data received from the network stored therein is connected with the image processing apparatus; and b) causing the security part to encode the transmission data or decode the received data when it is determined in the step a) that the recording medium is connected.</p> |
