Provided is an oil filter apparatus for a vehicle, capable of realizing the support stability of a cover hood to a cover and cost cutting. The oil filter apparatus (20) comprises: a cover (23) that opens and closes a fuel supply port (14) of the cover, a cover hood (24) covering both the fuel supply port and the cover, and a cover holding portion (33) holding the cover to the cover hood. The cover hood is composed of a cover hood body (25) and a reinforcement board (27) attached to the backside (26) of the cover hood body. The cover hood body is provided with a flange (35) extending from the backside upon the periphery (34). The cover holding portion (33) is composed of a flange, a pair of claws (36) upon the reinforcement board, and an abutting portion (37). A pair of the claws are used for suspending the cover and located at the spaced positions upon the backside of the cover hood. The abutting portion is located between a pair of the claws and used for bearing other parts of the front end face (51) of the cover supported by the end face of the annular flange. |
