PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of a combustible gas in a method for diagnosing deterioration of an OF cable line from the quantity of the combustible gas contained in an insulating oil by sampling the insulating oil from an oil sampling connector 9 of OF cable connecting parts 3, 4 and performing gas analysis.SOLUTION: In addition to a pressure oil tank 7 which applies a normal oil pressure to an OF cable line 1, a pressure oil tank 21 for pressurizing test is provided which applies an oil pressure higher than the normal oil pressure to the OF cable line 1. Before sampling an insulating oil from the oil sampling connector 9, operation of increasing the oil pressure within the OF cable line 1 more than the normal oil pressure by the pressure oil tank 21 for pressurizing test and then returning to the normal oil pressure is performed once or more. Thereafter, the insulating oil is sampled from the oil sampling connector 9. A combustible gas generated in inner deep portions of the connecting parts 3, 4 can be spread easily to outer peripheral portions of the connecting part and detection accuracy of the combustible gas is improved. |
