PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of cells, tissue and lesions in a blood vessel shadow area of an eye image or detection and measurement performance.SOLUTION: An adaptive-optics SLO20 acquires an eye-fundus image by photographing a subject's fundus oculi. An image processing apparatus 10 processes a fundus image. An identification unit 131 identifies an area based on movement of blood cells. An image processing unit 133 acquires information on tissue of the fundus oculi by applying different kinds of processing to the area and an area different from the area. An output unit 134 outputs the acquired information on the tissue.
