PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laser-engravable flexographic printing plate precursor, which exhibits improved suppression of dust adhesion and of curling up with the passage of time and also has excellent engraved scrap scattering prevention property and plate strength.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a laser-engravable flexographic printing plate precursor includes: a forming step of forming on a substrate a thermosetting layer containing a thermal polymerization initiator, an ethylenic unsaturated compound, and a solvent; and a thermosetting step of obtaining a thermoset layer by thermally curing the thermosetting layer in a state where a plate is placed at a distance of 0.20 to 20 mm from a surface of the thermosetting layer; in which the material of the plate is an inorganic material. |
