The device has a heat exchanger (3) comprising a central body with an inner channel for passing heat carrier mediums. The central body at an outer side comprises outer slats with interstices between the slats. The heat exchanger, another heat exchanger (2) and a sorbent with zeolite are provided in a vacuum-resistant container (1). One of the heat exchangers comprises a pipe as the central body with an inner channel and the slats. Pressure of 20 to 50 mbar prevails inside the container. A control unit (27) controls operation of the device. The heat carrier mediums are liquid or vaporous heat carrier mediums. An independent claim is also included for a vaporizer condenser unit.
