<p>The present invention provides an optical add-drop multiplexer branch unit (OADM BU) and a control method thereof. The OADM BU comprises: four wavelength division multiplexers WDM1 to WDM4 and a first optical switch module. The WDM1 to WDM4 are used for wavelength division and wavelength combining of signals, and the first optical switch module is used for on-off control of signals input to and output from WDM; the first optical switch comprises a port 1 to a port 4. The ports are respectively connected with input ends or output ends of the WDM1 to WDM4. Internal connection states between the ports comprise a state 1 and a state 2; the state 1 represents that the port 1 is connected to the port 2 and the port 3 is connected to the port 4; the state 2 represents that the port 3 is connected to the port 2, or the port 4 is connected to the port 1, or the port 3 is connected to the port 2 and the port 4 is connected to the port 1. The OADM BU in the above technical solution is simple in structure, easy to control and strong in disaster recovery.</p> |
