PURPOSE: A gear box of earth auger machine is provided to reduce weight by minimizing the number of a drive gear, an interlocking gear, and an idle gear, thereby promoting the safety for lifting auger drive unit. CONSTITUTION: A gear box (3) of earth auger machine includes a lateral drive gear, a lateral and forward interlock gear, and a lateral and backward interlock gear that are rotatably installed. The lateral and forward interlock gear is directly meshed with the lateral drive gear, respectively, and rotates together with the lateral drive gear. The lateral and backward interlock gear receives the rotating force of lateral drive gear by lateral idle gears (6a,6b). The lateral idle gears are inserted into the gear box through an interlock gear assembling hole before the respective gears are assembled and installed to the gear box, and are assembled by gear assembling pins (7a,7b) to be rotatable. |
