PURPOSE: A method for detecting parvovirus B19 is provided to have robustness, analysis specificity, repeatability, reproducibility, and sensitivity and to detect parvovirus B19 with high sensitivity in manufacturing pharmaceutical products based on a cell bank or cells. CONSTITUTION: A primer pair for detecting parvovirus contains sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A method for detecting parvovirus B19 comprises the step of performing PCR of DNA of a sample using the primer pair. A kit for detecting parvovirus contains the primer pair.
