The present invention refers to a device for measuring the angles of flexion and extension of the human joints, which includes ten acceleration sensors identified according to their different arrangement positions, the following groups being defined: four distal sensors, four metacarpophalangeal sensors, a wrist sensor and a thumb sensor, which are interconnected through connection cables to a data acquisition board included inside a protector unit. The device is intended to be arranged over the hand of a user for measuring the ranges of movement of the joints of that hand; the protecting unit including the data acquisition board comprises a fastening band made of a flexible material that is wound around the forearm of the user, allowing said protecting unit and the device to be firmly attached to the user. In addition, each one of the ten acceleration sensors is firmly positioned in the distal, metacarpophalangeal, thumb and wrist levels with the help of fastening belts of the Velcro type, this allowing the accelerometers to be located in the suitable position without using a glove or a similar complex structure.
