PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ion output current control method, a balancing method, and an ionization system, apparatus and circuit.SOLUTION: An electrical ionizer comprises: a positive emitter 62 and a negative ion emitter 64; and a positive high voltage power supply 52 and a negative high voltage power supply 54 associated with the positive emitter 62 and the negative ion emitter 64. The electrical ionizer is equipped with: a software-adjustable memory for storing a balance reference value; a comparator 152 to compare the balance reference value to a balance measurement value taken by an ion balance sensor 14 located near emitters 12; and an automatic balance adjustment circuit for adjusting at least one of the positive high voltage power supply 52 and the negative high voltage power supply 54 so as to equalize the balance measurement value to the balance reference value. |
