<p>[Problem] To reduce the system load on the cloud side and deal with a huge number of devices. [Solution] An information processing apparatus comprises a communication unit and a control unit. The communication unit can communicate with a first device, a second device and with an always-connected server, which is always connected to the second device via a network, by connecting to the first device, the second device and the server, respectively, via the network as occasion requires. The control unit can control the communication unit such that the communication unit: receives data, which is addressed to the second device, from the first device; transmits, to the always-connected server, notification request information to request the transmission of a notification message, which notifies about the existence of the data, to the second device; and transmits the data to the second device in response to a request from the second device having received the notification message.</p> |
