PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device for an elevator which enables a smooth door opening/closing operation with a simple configuration even when an engagement unit is not properly assembled.SOLUTION: A door device for an elevator includes an engagement element provided in a landing door panel and a pair of engaging blades engaged with the engagement element during landing and respectively arranged in parallel with an elevator car door panel. The door device also includes an engaging blade roller which is fixed to one engaging blade and which guides an ascending/descending displacement of the one engaging blade while moving in an opening/closing direction of the elevator car door panel, an engaging blade roller guide member which specifies an ascending/descending position of the engaging blade roller, and a load buffering mechanism which elastically supports the engaging blade roller guide member to absorb an excessive load applied to the engaging blade roller. The load buffering mechanism includes an elastic body which expands and contracts in an ascending/descending direction. |
