A composite component is prepared by exposing nanocarbon and/or carbon nanofiber in a metal matrix material, and embedding alloy and/or metal oxide. The amount of nanocarbon and carbon nanofiber is 0.01-50 volume%. An independent claim is included for production of composite component.
