PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing a deficiency in the amount of developer that reaches a developing unit with a simple configuration even in the situation where fluidity of the developer is decreased.SOLUTION: A developing device is configured such that a position of a supply nip part 38 formed by a developing roller 33 and a supply roller 34, and shapes such as depth and width of a valley of a V-shaped area 39 formed in the vicinity of the edge on the upstream side in a direction of rotation of the supply roller 34 are periodically changed in association with rotation about a shaft 34a of the supply roller 34. Specifically, an elliptical elastic layer 34b is provided on the outer periphery of the shaft 34a of the supply roller 34. |
