<p>A dishwasher comprises a wash tank with a collecting sump at the bottom and a wash pump that draws the water from said collecting sump and sends it into a storage reservoir (1) provided with two separate inlet/outlet passages (4,5), each passage (4,5) being controlled by a respective valve (6,7), as well as with an internal partition dividing the reservoir (1) into two portions (8,9) each of which is provided with one of said passages (4,5) and with a connection (3,10) to the wash tank that acts as a vent and overflow port. In this way, the rinse water recycling function can be performed in two successive steps by loading the water twice in the storage reservoir (1) without this causing the outflow of the water already present therein, and it is thus possible to exploit also the water of an intermediate phase of the cycle to accumulate in the storage reservoir (1) a greater amount of water to be used for a longer and more accurate prewash without increasing the overall water consumption.</p> |
