FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to hand-held right-angle grinder. Hand-held machine comprises case, flanged slip-type pin, protective device fitted on said pin to make working tool seat, and, at least, one device for damping and compensation of clearance between the case and protective device. Said protective device comprises, at least, one means acting in radial direction 26 and/or, at least, one means acting axially. Said means represent damping rings or damping material fixed at protective device end side. Proposed machine may incorporate protective device lock composed of lock lever with retainer cam and lock hole.
