PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that allow a manager to easily create a menu for operators that is customized to prevent setting items not approved by the manager from being changed.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus is connected with an imaging unit that takes an image of an inspection object, performs image processing on data of an image taken by the imaging unit, and determines quality of the inspection object on the basis of a result of the image processing. The image processing apparatus further receives selection of tools and receives selection of items that can be set for each tool of which selection is received, and displays only the items that can be set of which selection is received for each tool of which selection is received and the tool. |
