PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device which can apply an electric brake to a motor when a power supply is suspended, and permits downsizing and cost reduction.SOLUTION: A first switch 11 to a sixth switch 16 connect individual coils L1-L3 included in a motor to a power source 20. A capacitor C stores power supplied from the power source 20. A seventh switch 17 connects the capacitor C and the fourth switch 14 to the sixth switch 16 when a power supply from the power source 20 is suspended. The switch 14 to the sixth switch 16 are operated using the power stored in the capacitor C by the operation of the seventh switch 17, and the individual coils L1-L3 are short-circuited to apply a brake to the motor. |
