PURPOSE: A photographing device having a function synthesizing a plurality of photographed images is provided to properly overlap when synthesizing the plurality of photographed image pieces in multi-exposure photography, thereby obtaining natural images. CONSTITUTION: White balance processing units (102,112,132) process the white balance of the digitalized image data outputted by a photographing device (401). A comparison unit (407) compares a plurality of the image data read by memory units (405) positioned at spots corresponding to each photographed image. A memory control unit (406) selects and reads the corresponding image data according to the result of the comparison and outputs the multi-image data on a first screen. An image processing unit processes the selected and read multi-image data (161-164). A recording unit records the image-processed multi-image data on a recording medium (165).
