PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing liquefied carbon dioxide and a cleaning method thereof, whereby high cleanness in the apparatus can be achieved within a short period of time.SOLUTION: An apparatus 100 for producing liquefied carbon dioxide includes a purification part 10, a first introduction part 11, a storage part 12, a supply part 13, and a second introduction part 52. The purification part 10 is a part that removes impurities and contaminants from carbon dioxide. The first introduction part 11 is a part that introduces the carbon dioxide into the purification part 10 as a raw material or recovered gas. The storage part 12 is a part that stores the carbon dioxide, which has gone through the purification part 10, in a liquid state. The supply part 13 is a part that contains a pump 25 that feeds the liquid carbon dioxide from the storage part 12 to a use point 200. The second introduction part 52 performs cleaning of a line extending from the storage part 12 to the pump 25 by introducing carbon dioxide with cleanness that is higher than that of the carbon dioxide introduced from the first introduction part 11 into the line. |
