PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a photocatalyst in which air cleaning by visible light irradiation or the photocatalytic activity such as anti-bacterium and anti-virus are excellently exhibited, and the decreasing of a film physical property after long-term use is not hardly caused; and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A photocatalyst includes a photocatalyst layer that contains a photocatalyst particle in which a metal compound is supported in a photocatalytic substance on a resin base material, wherein the content for each unit volume of the photocatalyst particle increases from the resin base material side of the photocatalyst layer continuously or stepwisely toward the surface side of the photocatalyst layer. A method for manufacturing the same is disclosed. |
