PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver capable of saving a position within a backlash period in a memory to automatically restore a motor to a position within the saved backlash period.SOLUTION: A position detection section 26 detects a piece of positional information proportional to the rotation of a rotary section 25 being driven by a motor 24. A backlash monitoring section 27 monitors whether the position is within the backlash period from the position detection section 26 based on a cumulative distance calculated from a driving direction, a driving time and a driving speed of the motor 24 via a motor control section 23. A memory processing section 29 saves a piece of positional information from the position detection section 26 and a piece of positional information from the backlash monitoring section 27 in a memory 30 according to an operation through a remote controller 20. After driving the motor 24 via the motor control section 23 to move the motor to a position indicated by the saved position information from the position detection section 26, the memory processing section 29 drives the motor 24 for a driving time calculated from the predetermined speed and the cumulative distance calculated by the backlash monitoring section 27 to automatically restore the motor to a position within the backlash period. |
