PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide foam which has little variation in apparent density when film thickness of the thin-film polyimide foam is less than 1 mm and is used suitably as a heat resistant filter, a battery separator, an insulating member of an electronic device, a heat resistant sheet, a heat insulating material, a radiating member and an auxiliary material for them.SOLUTION: A thin-film polyimide foam has a thickness of ≥0.05 mm and less than 1 mm and an apparent density of ≥200 kg/mand≤580 kg/m. The standard deviation of the apparent density of the thin-film polyimide foam is controlled to be less than ±4%. |
