Provided is a string-shaped magnet in which first magnetic parts 3 and second magnetic parts 4 are arranged alternately in series along a longitudinal direction of a flexible strand body 2 made of synthetic resin and containing a magnetic powder, each of the first magnetic parts 3 having a planar polar boundary surface 3a, each of the second magnetic parts 4 having a polar boundary surface 4a substantially in the same plane as the polar boundary surface 3a of the first magnetic part 3 and has magnetic polarities opposite to those of the first magnetic part 3.
