The subject of the invention is a method for furnishing candles with a substantially match-like system for ignition thereof that is applicable for industrial use, wherein the invention refers to an industrially acceptable method for furnishing candles, especially pillar candles. The method of the invention comprises the following steps: - cleaning of a final section of the remaining end of a candle wick (2e) with preheating or partial burning of the wick (2e) with a heating plate, so that it is substantially without any excess of candle material, with which the remaining end of the wick (2e) is soaked; - application of a liquid ignition substance (1e) from a vessel (1) onto said final section of the wick (2e) in order to prepare an ignition cap (2f) by guiding and taking a precisely defined quantity of the ignition substance (1e) into precisely defined thickness with a roller (1c); - hardening of said ignition substance (1e) on the wick (2e) by means of a caterpillar assembly (2a) of the device (2) and natural drying and shaping of the ignition cap (2f) at the end of the remaining part of the wick (2e); - preparation of a sheet blank for the manufacturing of a sleeve with an attachment (4a); - furnishing of the sheet blank with a liquid rubbing ignition layer with a striking surface; - hardening of said rubbing ignition layer, and - assembling of the blank provided with a hardened rubbing ignition layer onto the wick at the section below the ignition cap (2f), so that a sleeve is formed out of the blank, said sleeve being joined by a clip (4b). . |
