PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and a method for the same for detecting and discharging breakage of a spout part of a plastic bung cap set product.SOLUTION: An imaging/inspection device 10 is provided with: an index 32 for intermittently feeding a plastic bung cap set product 3 carried from an upstream process; a sensor 11 for detecting the plastic bung cap set product 3 reaching an imaging position with the index 32; a camera 12 for imaging a spout surface of the plastic bung cap set product 3 by a trigger signal from the sensor; a UV ring illumination 13 for emitting light synchronized with the camera 12; a determination part 18 for determining whether or not the plastic bung cap set product 3 is a normal product according to image data acquired by the camera 12, design data for the plastic bung cap set product prepared in advance, and an inspection threshold; and a discharge control part 20 and a discharger 21 for performing discharge when the determination part 18 determines that the product is not a normal product. |
