PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a leakage current is generated by the generation of microcracks in an i-type semiconductor layer, and as a result, power generation efficiency of a thin-film solar cell is reduced.SOLUTION: A thin-film solar cell includes a photoelectric conversion layer provided on a base layer having such an uneven shape that height differences between recesses and projections are 250 to 1000 nm inclusive. The photoelectric conversion layer has a pin junction formed by a p-type semiconductor layer, an i-type semiconductor layer, and an n-type semiconductor layer. The i-type semiconductor layer includes a microcrystal layer. A buffer layer having a dark conductivity of 10to 10S/cm inclusive is provided between the p-type semiconductor layer and the i-type semiconductor layer. |
