The switching device (1) has an electronic shutter (6) with a direct current sensor (9). The current sensor is provided with soft magnetic probes as magnetic field detectors. The soft magnetic probes are formed of amorphous material and VITROVAC (RTM: hard, cobalt-based amorphous metal alloy) material. The soft magnetic probes are arranged to form a ring core of current sensor.
