PURPOSE: A lithium primary battery is provided to improve capacity at low voltage and have excellent stability capable of preventing the contact between a positive electrode and a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lithium primary battery (30) comprises a positive electrode current collector (32); a positive electrode (31) formed by being spread on both sides of the positive electrode current collector; a separator (33) surrounding both sides of the positive electrode; a negative electrode (34) disposed on the separator; and a case (35) in which the negative electrode is arranged inside and out of the positive electrode and the positive electrode is wound around the negative electrode. The positive electrode current collector has a lead (321) which has a narrow width to facilitate a short circuit when the positive electrode current collector is overheated due to the excessive current. |
