PURPOSE: A drying agent is provided to remove an organic solvent added to a drying agent, thereby preventing the organic solvent from entering an organic electroluminescent display. CONSTITUTION: A drying agent contains the polymer of an organometallic compound shown in chemical formula 1 as a drying component. The drying component and silicon shown in chemical formula 2 are charged in an airtight container. The drying component is 50-95 weight% of the drying agent, and the silicon is 5-50 weight% of the drying agent. An organic electroluminescent display(1) is charged with the drying agent(8) as the drying component, which is airtightly sealed with an element substrate(2), a sealing substrate(7), and a sealant(9) to form a laminate, in the airtight container. The organic electroluminescent display(1) enables an organic layer(4) to contain the laminate which is pinched with a pair of electrodes. |
