PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid surface floating substance recovery apparatus capable of certainly and efficiently recovering a liquid surface floating substance regardless of the size thereof by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In a liquid surface floating substance recovery apparatus having a float arranged in a liquid layer in which oil/scum is mixed with water, a recovery part for recovering oil/scum like liquid surface floating substance floating on the liquid surface from the recovery port held in the vicinity of the liquid layer by the buoyancy of the float, a separation part arranged outside the liquid layer and connected to the recovery part through a recovery pipe to separate the oil/scum recovered by the recovery part from water and a return pipe for returning the water from which the oil/scum is separated by the separation part in the liquid layer, the return water from the return pipe is applied to at least a part of the float to sediment the float with respect to the liquid surface to up and down move the holding position of the recovery port of the recovery part to the liquid surface. |
