PURPOSE: A production method of a tree protection mat is provided to maintain heat-retaining property and hygroscopic property for growing trees, and to offer excellent snail repelling property and grass growing prevention property. CONSTITUTION: A copper sulfate solution is coated on a nonwoven fabric mat (10), and dried. An opening (12) for locating a tree and a cut-out unit (14) for inserting the tree into the opening are formed on the nonwoven fabric mat processed with copper sulfate. The copper sulfate solution contains 500 L of water, 2-4 kg of copper sulfate, and 0.0.1-2 kg of binder, and the binder is rosin or glue. The copper sulfate solution is coated on the nonwoven fabric mat by foaming or dipping. |
