<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of protecting the upper body and the knees of an occupant while reducing a gas amount. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag device 10 for a front passenger seat includes a main bag 26 that is developed to restrain the upper body U of the occupant P, a subbag 28 that is developed to restrain the knees K of the occupant P, a high pressure expansion portion 40 that is developed in the subbag 28, a gas supply flow passage portion 38 to develop the high pressure expansion portion 40 by an internal pressure higher than that of the subbag 28, and a gas discharge-restraining means 42 (check valve) as a structure for giving the internal pressure difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
