A worktop 10 comprising a work-surface 12, to be arranged substantially horizontally in use and having a top surface 12a, front longitudinal edge 12b and an underside 12c comprising at least one recess 13; a worktop item 14, located below the work-surface; a separate liquid director 22 having an upper mounting portion 23 comprising at least one resilient formation 38, 40 mounted to a recess in the underside of the work-surface and at least one projection 24a arranged to extend generally downwardly therefrom. Further embodiments define elongate liquid directors comprising a substantially planar face 22a for mounting to the underside of a work surface and/or a plurality of downwardly extending projections 24a , 24b . |
