PURPOSE: A delivery person information providing system and method are provided to offer identification information of a delivery person along with a situation at the outside through a home automation system, thereby enabling a user to identify the delivery person. CONSTITUTION: A home automation system (10) enables visitor identification when the house is called at and performs automatic control, crime prevention, and disaster prevention at home. The home automation system receives input of a delivery person code and outputs delivery person information. A delivery person information database (30) stores identification information of a delivery person. An information providing server (20) searches the delivery person information database according to the delivery person code and provides delivery person information to the home automation system. The delivery person code is inputted through a delivery person code input unit at the front door.
