PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel sensor capable of detecting fuel leakage in a shorter period of time, and a combustion apparatus for improving safety by providing such a liquid fuel sensor.SOLUTION: Liquid fuel is detected by a liquid fuel sensor 10 including a housing member 30 having many communicating minute spaces inside to allow liquid fuel to infiltrate by a capillary phenomenon, an expansion member 13 housed in the housing member 30, a pressure reception movement member 12, and a detection switch 50. When detecting the liquid fuel, the expansion member 13 expands by absorbing the liquid fuel infiltrating the housing member 30, the pressure reception movement member 12 is moved by receiving the expansion force of the expansion member 13, and the detection switch 50 is turned on/off by the pressing force caused by the movement of the pressure reception movement member 12. The expansion member 13 of such a liquid fuel sensor 10 is provided with a deleted part 14 formed by deleting a portion of the expansion member 13. |
