PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which, when a surface of a non-circular wafer of a solar battery is treated with liquid chemicals, then a wafer carrier of a substrate is pulled up from a liquid chemicals tank, can reduce the amount of the liquid chemicals left on the surface of the wafer and to be taken out of the liquid chemicals tank.SOLUTION: A holder dipped in a liquid chemicals tank houses a square substrate of a solar battery in such a way that the surface of the substrate and a plane on which the holder is placed are almost vertical. The substrate is housed in such a way that an angle formed between a first straight line which is at least one of lines on the outer periphery of the housed square substrate and a second straight line indicated by a line intersected by the surface of the substrate housed on a mounting plane on which the holder is placed is not parallel or vertical. |
