摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave absorber having a high degree of freedom in shape and capable of being deformed to some extent without causing degradation of radio wave absorption performance, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The wave absorber includes a film-like resin base material 1 composed of a resin at least the main part of which is flexible, and a plurality of ceramic sintered compact thin plates 2 having radio wave absorption capacity arranged on the surface of the resin base material and bonded thereto. Each ceramic sintered compact thin plate having radio wave absorption capacity has a square planar shape, and meets the requirements that the length of one side is 0.1-300 mm and the thickness is 10-2000 μm. As the ceramic sintered compact thin plate having radio wave absorption capacity arranged on the surface of the resin base material and bonded thereto, a ceramic sintered compact thin plate having a square planar shape is used, and the ceramic sintered compact thin plates are arranged so that the gap between the adjoining ceramic sintered compact thin plates is 500 μm or less. As the ceramic sintered compact thin plate having radio wave absorption capacity, a ferrite sintered compact thin plate is used.
