Abstract A device for cleaning the ear canal. The device comprises a plastic stem with fin shaped rubber scoops at each end. The fins have lip-like projections at their distal ends. The device is about 7.5 cm long and 0.5 cm in diameter. To scoop out ear wax, the device is inserted into the outer ear and rotated in the direction of the lip-like projections. The soft and flexible rubber scoops do not damage the ear. Unlike traditional ear buds, the wax is not just pushed around. The device is cleanable and reusable, making it ideal for travel.
