PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact structure which enables processes of caulking, a conductive paste, and insert molding to be eliminated and has resistance to impact.SOLUTION: A contact structure between a substrate and an end terminal in a slide type variable resistor includes a substrate, a body, and an end terminal. The substrate has a substantially strip shape. A linear shaped resistor is disposed on one plate surface of the substrate so as to be arranged in a longitudinal direction, and a terminal made of metal plating is disposed at an end part of the resistor. In the body, a housing space housing the substrate is formed. A through hole is formed on a side wall forming the housing space, and the substrate is laminated on a bottom wall forming the housing space. The end terminal has a contact part and an engagement part, is formed by a belt like metal plate, and is formed having a substantially C shaped cross section so as to sandwich the substrate in a lamination direction. The end terminal sandwiches the substrate in the lamination direction, and the contact part passes the through hole to press the terminal with metal elastic force. The engagement part engages with the body, and the end terminal integrally fixes the substrate with the body. |
