PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a molded product, the method capable of improving productivity.SOLUTION: A method of producing a molded product includes: a step of providing a resin layer 50 that serves as a mold release layer, on a cavity surface of a mold 4; a step of injecting a resin composition on the mold 4; a step of taking the resin composition out of the mold 4 as a molded product 2 in such a state that a solidified layer is formed on a surface of the resin composition but then the inside of the resin composition is not solidified; and a step of cooling the molded product 2 for solidification.
