PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing unit which efficiently selects the most suitable representative data out of a data set consisting of multiple data.SOLUTION: An information processing unit comprises: a feature quantity extraction unit extracting a feature quantity indicating a feature of each data from multiple data comprising a data set; a similarity calculation unit calculating similarity between each data of the data set on the basis of each feature quantity; a statistic calculation unit calculating a similarity statistic of each data indicating the feature of the data set on the basis of the similarity between each data and a statistic weight for each data; a representative data determination unit determining representative data representing the data set from the data set on the basis of each similarity statistic; and a statistic weight calculation unit updating each statistic weight on the basis of the similarity between the determined representative data and the similarity of each data. |
