摘要 Disclosed herein are an activated carbon for a lithium ion capacitor, including mesopores with a pore size of 2~50 nm in a content of 20~30% based on all pores therein, an electrode including the activated carbon as an active material, and a lithium ion capacitor using the electrode. Accordingly, there can be provided an activated carbon having appropriate mesopores for allowing an increase in capacitance by free adsorption and desorption of the lithium ions, and a lithium ion capacitor storage device having a long lifespan and high input and output characteristics and further having reliability on high-rate charging and discharging cycles by including the activated carbon as an active material.
