PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an oil supply pressure to be variably adjusted in accordance with an operation condition of an internal combustion engine, and to enable a required oil supply pressure to be ensured even if a stuck open failure occurs in an electromagnetic relief valve.SOLUTION: A device 10 of adjusting an oil supply pressure for an internal combustion engine adjusts a pressure of oil supplied into the internal combustion engine by increasing and decreasing an effective passage cross section of a relief passage 28 which connects an oil gallery 24 and a side of an inlet of an oil pump. The device includes first and second relief valves 30 and 32 provided in series in the relief passage. The first relief valve 30 is a mechanical valve including a valve element 34 pushed in a valve opening direction by the pressure of oil and a spring 42 for biasing the valve element 34 in a valve closing direction. The second relief valve 32 is an electromagnetic valve including a valve element 44 and an electromagnetic actuator 52 for increasing and decreasing a valve opening amount by driving the valve element 44. |
