<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving pitch noise, while maintaining maneuvering stability in circuit traveling. <P>SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, the vehicle installing direction is designated, and the pitch number of an outside peripheral groove 10 is smaller than 1/3 of the pitch number of inside peripheral grooves 5 and 8. A block 12 is divided and formed into an inside block 21 between an outside main groove 9 and a peripheral directional thin groove 13 and an outside block 22 outside in the tire width direction more than the peripheral directional thin groove 13 by the peripheral directional thin groove 13. One first thin peripheral groove 23 extending up to a block midway part to the outside in the tire width direction from the outside main groove 9, and one second thin peripheral groove 24 extending up to the block midway part to the inside in the tire width direction from the peripheral directional thin groove 13, are arranged at a predetermined interval between the outside peripheral grooves 9 in the inside block 21.
