PURPOSE: A recombinant vector with improved surfactin productivity and a transformant are provided to produce a large amount of surfacting using manipulated strain. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant vector for enhancing surfactant contains comX gene of Bacillus subtilis. comX encodes a protein having an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. A transformant containing the recombinant vector is B. subtilis pHT43-ComX KCCM11163P. A method for preparing the transformant comprises a step of transforming the recombinant vector to Bacillus subtilis. A composition for producing surfactin contains the transformant as an active ingredient.
