The invention discloses a waste collecting tank with a built-in lock, comprising a plastic barrel body. A waste put-in port is arranged on the barrel body, and a plastic barrel cover matched with the put-in port is articulated on the barrel body, wherein the inner wall of the barrel body is provided with a lock body, and the barrel body is provided with a drawer which is locked with the lock body and used for collecting wastes; a lever device is fixed on the inner side of the barrel cover and can act on the lock body; and the lever device can act on the lock body and gradually ensures that the lock body and the drawer are locked and separated to realize the free drawing out of the drawer. Because the lock body and the drawer are in a locking state at ordinary times, even if the collecting tank turns over, the drawer cannot be drawn out, thereby guaranteeing that the wastes in the collecting tank cannot flow out. Because both the lock body and the lever device are arranged in the plastic collecting tank in a hidden mode, when the plastic collecting tank is in the ordinary state, both the lock body and the lever device cannot be seen and the whole collecting tank is practical and beautiful.
