PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a mechanism for equalizing distribution of in-plane tension of a film by measuring the distribution of the in-plane tension of the film on a real time basis when a coating device is in operation, and feeding back a result thereof to a plurality of mechanisms arranged parallel in a direction perpendicular to the direction of a flow of the coating device to control the tension; and the coating device provided with the mechanism.SOLUTION: An internal stress equalizing mechanism of a film which is to be coated in a coating device of a roll-to-roll method at least incudes a measuring unit for measuring the distribution of the internal stress of the film, and a control unit for distributing the internal stress of the film uniformly according to the measurement result obtained by the measuring unit.
