A method for forming polymeric articles from polymeric sheet blanks using infrared heaters includes clamping a polymer sheet blank, its heating to the plastic state by infrared heaters, wherein those portions of blank, which are subject to greater elongation, are protected against radiation by translucent screens, sealing a space between the blank and mold surface, creating the differential pressure on both sides of the polymeric sheet blank up to its pressing to the mold surface, differential pressure relief, cooling the product on the mold surface and subsequent removal of the product, where the values of applied efforts and temperature are varied and the degree of stretching of the polymer sheet blank is experimentally determined at various efforts depending on the temperature, and the heating of the polymer sheet blank to the plastic state is carried out by using a material that is transparent to infrared radiation coated with a layer of material opaque to radiation with different degrees of screening on various portions of the surface, whose sizes are selected depending on changes such as temperature growth of a polymeric sheet blank and the degree of stretching of the polymeric sheet blank at various points to achieve equal wall thickness of the product over its entire surface. |
